Job Summary
Assistant General Manager supports a high-performance gym environment and, with the general manager, oversees facility operations. Responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team, monitoring KPI performance, leading by example to meet targets, coaching staff, and assisting with scheduling, labor management, member service resolution, and escalation of issues. Drives new member sales through lead generation and outreach, oversees member integration across services, manages front desk and Kid’s Crunch activities, maintains facility cleanliness and equipment, and ensures compliance with Crunch policies and service standards. Utilizes Crunch tools for incident reporting, communication, and process integration; reports to the General Manager and collaborates with Fit Fusion management.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of fitness facility and/or customer service-oriented management experience
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Understanding of labor control, optional staffing levels and controls overtime
- Clear communication skills, demonstrating confidence
