Job Summary
Oversee daily gym operations by assisting with team recruitment, training, and development to maintain proper staffing levels while monitoring staff performance against KPI standards. Manage scheduling and labor control, resolve member service issues with empathy, and lead new member acquisition and integration efforts. Supervise club assets including inventory reconciliation and equipment maintenance, ensure consistent compliance with service standards, and facilitate staff goal setting and regular meetings. Directly support the General Manager in executing objectives and maintaining facility cleanliness through daily checklist oversight.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of fitness facility and/or customer service-oriented management experience
- Experience executing objectives quickly and effectively managing key KPI's
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Understanding of labor control, optional staffing levels and controls overtime
- Clear communication skills, demonstrating confidence
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading and/or supervising employees preferred
