Job Summary
Support the General Manager in developing an authentic team and upholding top-tier customer service, cleanliness, and culture at every club. Provide welcoming experiences by sharing membership information, fitness programs, and amenities while engaging in club tours. Manage daily operations including cleaning tasks, membership sign-ups, retail transactions, and smoothie service. Partner with leadership to recruit talent, conduct performance reviews, and coach staff. Guide teams through member concerns and facility issues to minimize disruptions. Assist with labor management, turnover, quality assurance, and administrative duties such as reporting, scheduling, and inventory. Maintain strong communication with fitness, maintenance, and Home Office departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2+ years of team leadership or management experience
- 2+ years of previous customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to cultivate a positive environment and develop a strong team
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Organized and accountable, able to set, reach, and prioritize goals
- Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be available for weekend shifts, when required
