Job Summary
Assistant General Manager at CAVA responsible for partnering with General Manager and Area Leader to establish store action plans, manage daily operations, scheduling, inventory, budgeting, training, and guest satisfaction. Lead by example in customer service, uphold food safety and service standards, support financial reporting and cost control, and drive team development and performance through coaching and coaching feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within restaurant or hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Adapt to changing circumstances and develop solutions to enhance restaurant performance
- Ability to manage financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control
- Knowledge of legal, health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Willing to work flexibly (including at night and on weekends) and to travel as needed
- Generous and friendly demeanor when engaging with guests
- Completes tasks and projects within established timelines
