Job Summary

Join a dual-brand dining concept as Assistant General Manager overseeing restaurant operations, directing shift performance, enforcing service standards, handling guest relations, safety, and sanitation, managing inventory and costs, coordinating training and development of managers and key hourly staff, and driving community and sales-building events. Requires college degree in Hotel/Restaurant, Management, Business or related field and prior management experience; responsibilities include scheduling, performance coaching, maintaining guest satisfaction, compliance with policies, and maintaining overall restaurant performance under GM supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior management experience in a similar organization
  • College graduate with a two or four year degree in Hotel/Restaurant, Management, Business or associated field
  • Demonstrates leadership abilities
  • Leadership evaluated by GM/AD/DO and hourly associates
  • Completed management training guides
  • Attainment of business goals with supervisors
  • Ability to manage restaurant environment
  • Directs overall activities and performance of associates on a shift-by-shift basis

  • Responds to guest complaints promptly and appropriately
  • Ensures guest contact and service standards
  • Enforces alcohol awareness on a shift-to-shift basis
  • Maintains inventory levels
  • Ensures proper product preparation and presentation
  • Schedules associates and manages staffing
  • Develops community and sales-building events
  • Ensures safety and security programs
  • Maintains restaurant organization and sanitation
  • Performs routine maintenance and informs GM of repairs
