Assistant General Manager

Assistant General Manager to support store leadership in achieving sales and service objectives. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing P&L statements, leveraging GAS3 selling experience for DIY and DIFM customers, managing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.), ensuring high standards of customer service and operational quality, executing manager-on-duty duties (coaching, floor/phone management, task assignment, safety, opening/closing), and leading weekly scheduling. Success factors include friendly communication, safety awareness, parts location and stocking, and the ability to train and execute store processes, inventory systems, and diagnostic equipment for DIY services. Candidates should have working knowledge of automotive systems, be able to use Microsoft Word/Excel (PowerPoint preferred), and demonstrate the ability to analyze business reports and drive profitability. A high school diploma/GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in business or related area is preferred. ASE certification is preferred but not required. The role requires flexibility to work various days, evenings, and weekends, and involves walking/standing, some heavy lifting, and exposure to typical retail environments. Equal opportunity employer.
