Job Summary
Review and analyze P&L statements to drive profitability while achieving personal and store sales goals for DIY and DIFM customers. Manage daily DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational safety. Oversee manager on duty responsibilities such as coaching staff, handling complaints, and managing floor and phone operations. Execute and train advanced solution recommendations, inventory systems, POS lookups, and diagnostic equipment for the team. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed, with a good faith estimate of $19.70 to $21.91 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- GAS3 selling experience for DIY and DIFM customers
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Parts and automotive system knowledge skills
- ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent
- Ability to execute and train advanced solution, project and product quality recommendations
- Ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc.
- Ability to execute and train all store operational processes and procedures, and testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY services
- Ability to execute and train inventory systems and store equipment
- Ability to execute and train POS and Parts lookup systems
- Working knowledge of automotive systems
- Speak and write English
- Ability to use Microsoft software effectively (Word, Excel required)
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, sales increases, and gross profit percent
- Ability to review and analyze business reports, such as profit and loss statement (P&L)
- Ability to hold others accountable, inspect work quality and give feedback
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10 – 20 Team Members
- Successful experience managing profitability
