Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager will assist in the overall management of restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to guest service standards, compliance with safety and security policies, and meeting fiscal goals. Responsibilities include training and developing the restaurant team, conducting performance reviews, managing financial controllables, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and implementing marketing programs. The role requires strong organizational skills, collaboration, and personal effectiveness. A high school diploma and one year of restaurant management experience are required, along with food safety certification.
Required Qualifications
- One year Restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field helpful
Additional Requirements
- District Managers and ASLs with positions requiring significant business driving must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR)
