Job Summary
Assistant General Manager at YouFit Gyms responsible for leading operations, driving membership growth, sales, and an exceptional member experience. Lead by example, train and develop team members, assist in recruiting and onboarding, oversee daily gym operations, monitor financial processes, utilize CRM to engage and retain members, ensure compliance with policies, and support marketing and community engagement initiatives. Requires 18+ years old, 6+ months of management/leadership experience in fitness/hospitality/sales/customer service, English proficiency (multilingual a plus), availability Sun–Fri, and ability to manage labor, inventory, and costs; physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a management or leadership role within a fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer service setting.
- Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English. Fluency in multiple languages is favored.
- Must be available to work Sunday through Friday, with flexibility for business needs.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to handle escalated member and team concerns effectively.
- Ability to manage labor, inventory, and operational costs to support business growth and profitability.
- Ability to execute company initiatives and uphold compliance standards in sales, operations, and personal training services.
- Physical Demands: active role requiring frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
