Job Summary
Lead the catering and event operations for weddings, corporate events, nonprofit galas, private dinners, and full-building special events; collaborate with the Director of Operations and a second Assistant General Manager to coordinate shared resources, staffing, and guest experience; manage a team of 40+ FOH/BOH staff, oversee event logistics from planning to execution, serve as primary client contact before and during events, and ensure BEOs and post-event recaps are completed. Responsibilities include hiring/training/scheduling, coaching, performance management, inventory, cost control, labor management, and leading floor operations during events; role requires flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and certification within 90 days (ServSafe and Responsible Seller).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in catering, banquets, events, or high-volume F&B operations
- ServSafe certification
- Responsible Seller certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
