Job Summary
Provide practical, risk-based legal guidance on digital credentials, customer authentication, and fraud prevention while advising product leaders on strategy, biometric use cases, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Counsel on implementation strategy, contracts, and customer-facing communications, then review content to ensure accurate disclosures. Draft and update agreements, terms, and conditions; monitor laws and enforcement trends; and summarize regulatory developments into actionable product changes. Identify material risks early and escalate with clear recommendations. Contribute to policies and controls.
Required Qualifications
- Lawyer qualified to practice in the United States (active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction)
- minimum of 5 years of experience
- Background in financial services regulation or supporting another highly regulated business
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Ability to summarize legal and regulatory developments clearly and concisely for distribution and oral presentation to a non-legal audience
- Ability to develop strong relationships with the business, corporate functions, and fellow legal and support professionals
- A true self-starter with the ability to work independently to manage competing and changing priorities and coordinate among a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Comfort in a rapidly changing business environment
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- A sense of humor
