Job Summary
Assistant General Counsel to join Micron’s Legal Department as a business-facing attorney supporting the Company’s multi-billion-dollar Business Units and Sales teams. Provide pragmatic legal advice to help meet strategic and commercial goals, review and draft a wide range of commercial agreements (including product purchase and sale, volume supply, waivers, disclaimers, quality requirements, warranty, confidentiality, and marketing materials), assist with development of new product initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, engineering, quality, security) on operational, compliance, and risk matters. Deliver trainings on key legal issues to Business Units, Sales, and internal partners; interact with senior leadership and translate legal risk into actionable business guidance. Requires JD, bar admission, and 8+ years’ experience in commercial law; preference for in-house semiconductor experience and familiarity with AI-enabled legal workflows.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA accredited law school and a current member of the bar in good standing
- 8+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, along with an excellent working and practical knowledge of commercial law across geographies
- Geographic Requirement: Located within a reasonable distance from a Micron office, or willing to relocate
