Assistant General Counsel, EMEA

Senior legal role in Kemira’s Business Legal Department located in Helsinki with hybrid work. Serve as a senior advisor to EMEA units on legal, contractual and litigation matters; lead and manage complex commercial transactions including drafting and negotiating customer, distribution, and vendor agreements; manage disputes in coordination with external counsel; partner with business teams to provide proactive, solution-oriented legal advice; support growth initiatives including potential M&A; contribute to special projects. Requirements: qualified lawyer in at least one EMEA jurisdiction (Finland preferred), ~10–12 years in-house experience in a multinational, strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, fluency in Finnish and English, ability to work independently, integrity, and proficiency with AI tools; ability to operate in a hybrid office/remote setup in Helsinki, Finland.
