Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary
Review and draft contracts for freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and distribution transactions daily, including vendor agreements, services, and non-disclosure agreements. Conduct legal due diligence and case settlement, manage litigation, and analyze U.S. and Korean legislation affecting global logistics operations. Support senior leadership in formal writings regarding contractual interpretation, enforce compliance with government regulations, and develop insurance proposals for commercial and marine policies. Identify operational risks in international supply chains and implement mitigation strategies in consultation with senior counsel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in law
- Licensed to practice law in the U.S with a certificate of good standing
- At least 3 years of experience as a corporate lawyer in handling company legal matters with a strong focus on contractual matters
- At least 7 years of paralegal experience
- NJ Bar license
- CA Bar license
Desired Qualifications
- An NJ Bar license is required and/or a CA license preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Critical thinking and multitasking abilities
- Bilingual in Korean/English
