Assistant Fulfillment Center Manager

Job Summary
Direct the daily operations of a high-volume pick, pack, and ship fulfillment center, including planning weekly volume, managing staffing, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Oversee the complete product life cycle from receiving to distribution, while implementing safety procedures and maintaining fixture storage cleanliness. Recruit, select, orient, and train employees to scale the warehouse team, and manage all personnel-related issues and incidents. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to execute customer standards, prepare daily and weekly operation reports, and optimize productivity during peak holiday weeks. Ensure adequate staffing, equipment, and space utilization to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse/production logistics/high-volume pick, pack production, or manufacturing environment
- Experience managing a team of at least 10+ employees
- Ability to use KPIs and data to manage and improve processes
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- A valid Driver's License
- The potential for prolonged standing, walking, squatting, and bending
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Experience in a LEAN environment
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- 5W or 8D root cause analysis
