Job Summary
Assist the Front Office Manager in managing Front Office operations to achieve guest satisfaction, quality service, and adherence to corporate/franchise policies while meeting financial goals. Responsible for efficient guest registration/check-in, checkout, guest service, and telephone service; implement brand standards; prepare forecasts and reports; assist in Rooms Division budgeting; monitor front office systems; track guest satisfaction; train entry level staff; control labor costs using labor management tools; interview/hire/train/develop staff; conduct performance appraisals; maintain clear communication with staff; resolve guest issues to maintain high levels of satisfaction; ensure compliance with front office SOPs and collaborate with other departments to optimize occupancy and revenues; ensure proper maintenance of front desk equipment and supplies; participate in sales coordination to improve occupancy and revenues.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of front desk experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Hotel experience preferred
- PMS system proficiency
- Able to handle cash and credit transactions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
