Job Summary
Assistant Front Office Manager at Hotel Indigo Los Angeles oversees front office operations, acts as Manager on Duty during specific time periods (including late evening, night, and early morning), and may work overnight shifts as Night Manager. Responsibilities include developing cost-control tracking systems, ensuring credit procedures are followed, managing financial transactions, analyzing and approving discounts, driving upselling and enrollment targets for ambassadors and IHG Rewards, scheduling staff in compliance with legal requirements, adhering to HR regulations, resolving guest queries and complaints to maximize guest satisfaction, handling overbooking per directives from leadership, monitoring HeartBeat results, and ensuring VIPs receive personalized attention. The role requires collaboration with Finance and HR, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet diverse guest needs, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Management/Business Administration or 3 years of Front Office/Guest Service experience including management experience
- Must speak fluent English; Other language preferred.
