Job Summary
As an Assistant Foreman, provide hands-on support, ensuring safety compliance and coordinating with project leadership. Directly assist and lead setup and teardown of equipment for pumping systems, power generation and distribution, HVAC, and energy/temporary utility systems. Participate in disaster restoration and emergency response efforts. Promote safety, oversee compliance with company policies, identify hazards and implement controls, and collaborate with Project Leads to monitor timelines and resource allocation. Ensure projects are completed on time and that deployed equipment runs efficiently to maximize profitability and client satisfaction. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; mechanical/maintenance experience with relevant equipment is essential. Strong ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics; solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; capable of interacting effectively with customers and team members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (typically required)
- Technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering are a plus
- Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, A/C and heat and water restoration or construction equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with customers, team members and internal resources
