Job Summary
Assistant Foreman position based in Mont Alto, PA, onsite. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining a range of construction equipment (e.g., Skid Loader, Excavator, Bulldozer, Roller) for retaining walls and other hardscaping projects; performing laborer duties when not operating equipment; reading, understanding, and laying out work from construction drawings; executing cuts and complex tasks on-site with high quality and precision; enforcing safety standards; utilizing the company truck for material transport; maintaining equipment cleanliness and performance; communicating field issues and potential improvements to supervisors. Strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and leadership development in a hands-on construction environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hardscaping experience, particularly with retaining walls, patios, walkways, and similar projects
- Proven skill and strong proficiency in the operation of construction equipment
- Ability to read, interpret, and lay out from construction drawings
- Highly safety-conscious with a commitment to maintaining safety practices
- Excellent teamwork and strong communication skills
- A valid driver’s license is strongly preferred to operate company vehicles
- Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus
