Job Summary

Supervise and coach athletes during practice and games while ensuring their safety. Manage athletic equipment and uniforms, instructing players on proper care and use. Maintain regular communication with the athletic director regarding program aspects and inform parents and students about expectations. Complete end-of-season responsibilities including award ceremonies, athlete certificates, and equipment inventory. This fall season role requires past experience playing or coaching football, current CPR and first aid training, and strong organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Past experience playing and/or coaching football
  • Up-to-date training in CPR
  • Up-to-date training in First Aid
  • Up-to-date training in concussions
  • Up-to-date training in Coaching Principles course
  • Up-to-date training in any other requirements of the Maine Principals' Association
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
