Job Summary
Assist in coaching the Memorial Middle School football program, issuing equipment and supervising students’ care of it; supervise examinations and ensure forms are signed; promote a style of play aligned with the program; prepare daily practice schedules and continually improve coaching techniques; dress appropriately for coaching duties; adhere to Sioux Falls School District policies; administer first aid and coordinate with families, doctors, and administrators; communicate professionally with officials and coaches; attend rules meetings and coordinator-led activities; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; BA/BS Education (preferred)
- High school/college participation
- College course work in the Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries
- Knowledge of the sport
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others
- Eye-hand, mind-eye coordination, physical dexterity
- Ability to travel between locations
- Post Offer Criminal Background Check Required
