Job Summary
Middle school assistant football coach responsibilities include teaching sports techniques, rules, strategies and tactics; conditioning athletes for endurance, strength and agility; supervising practices and contests safely (including locker rooms and buses); teaching sportsmanship and work ethic; monitoring attendance, grades, and conduct; responding to injuries with approved first aid; managing uniforms, equipment, and facilities; providing coverage when coaches are absent; applications reviewed by athletic director/principal with interviews; vacancies developed and posted through the district athletic programs administrator; position is a one-year appointment and extra-services responsibility; posted locally to Owingsville, KY.
