Job Summary
Assistant Football Coach for Kanawha County Schools (Dunbar Middle) responsible for coaching staff organization, developing relationships with players and stakeholders, teaching fundamental football skills, managing practice sessions and pre-season planning, supervising support personnel, handling equipment and injuries, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with WVSSAC policies. Requires WV teaching certification/permit or substitute permit, WVSSAC certification, and a high school diploma or GED; involves completing WVSSAC Training and KCS concussion training and related prerequisites. Primary duties include motivating players, maintaining professional conduct, and collaborating with principals and athletic directors to foster growth and development of participants.
