Job Summary
Assistant Football Coach at Phoenix High School (2 positions, 0.75 FTE each) assists the Head Coach with supervising and coaching football teams during practices, trips, and games, and supports overall program administration. Responsibilities include coaching and supervising players, maintaining equipment, supplies, uniforms, game score book and statistics, and ensuring discipline and adherence to school/program policies. Reports to the Head Coach/Athletic Director; position requires flexible scheduling and may involve transportation duties with an activity van. Preference given to candidates with Oregon teaching license and bilingual Spanish-English abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Football playing experience
- OSAA/NFHS certified or ability to become certified
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification and other required trainings or willingness to obtain
- Meet required driver's training for activity van usage
- Must have a flexible work schedule to accommodate practices and matches
