Job Summary
Assist in daily operations of the food production department; carry out assigned work to ensure on-time delivery of finished product; communicate to guarantee food cost goals and on-time delivery; attend food tastings; manage multiple priorities and meet short timelines; identify problematic areas and suggest solutions to Supervisors/Department Heads; adhere to HACCP and FDA regulations; ensure quality assurance and economical figures to meet high-end food standards; lead and motivate the food production team; train new hires and record training sessions; perform other duties as assigned; require strong culinary knowledge, leadership, teamwork, and excellent communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; minimum 2 years in high-volume food service/production; high school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred; salary range $55,000–$60,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume food service or food manufacturing production with experience/exposure to leadership roles
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
