Job Summary
Assist Director of Dining Room Services with daily operations at Brays Island Plantation restaurant(s). Supervises waitstaff and bartenders, including hiring, discipline, scheduling, and performance appraisal. Coordinates service between kitchen and service staff in the absence of the Director. Prepares payroll timekeeping sheets. Assists with private event planning, scheduling, and updates menus; trains the POS system. Schedules daily side-work, inspects dining room for appearance and cleanliness. Greets customers and handles complaints. Assists with beverage inventories and weekly alcohol orders. Types menus and administrative documents. Ensures dining room and bar/lounge are prepared and ready for operation; maintains customer satisfaction. Physical requirements and environment described.
Required Qualifications
- Must posses high school diploma/GED.
- Experience with alcoholic beverage service.
- Experience with service protocol as outlined in training manual.
- Comprehensive tableside service skills.
- Must be confident of skills and ability to make sound independent decisions when appropriate.
- Minimum 3 years experience in restaurant environment.
