Job Summary
Assistant Food & Beverage Director at Esplanade Golf & Country Club (Bradenton, FL) supports the Director of Food & Beverage in overseeing all aspects of the department, including event operations, dining room management, and overall F&B service. Responsible for scheduling across restaurant, banquet, and beverage cart departments; managing beverage ordering and liquor cost; coordinating with the kitchen for ticket times, food quality, and presentation; completing month-end inventories; assisting with budget development and cost analysis; supporting marketing of restaurant and catering; managing banquet floor operations and table service standards; promoting Troon Golf standards; interviewing, hiring, training, directing and evaluating staff; overseeing training programs; forecasting manpower and costs; and ensuring safe work practices and reliable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (AA) or six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- Food Safety and Applicable Sanitation Training
- Alcohol Awareness Training
- Event planning and coordination experience (1-2 years)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and POS systems
- Ability to read and speak English (may be required)
