Assistant Food and Beverage Operations Manager

Job Summary
Assists in supervising daily F&B/culinary operations to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Performs responsibilities including ordering supplies, supervising shift operation, enforcing F&B policies and procedures, supporting an effective self-inspection program, ensuring equipment functionality, managing staffing to meet guest service and financial objectives, and promoting a positive team culture. Helps deliver above-and-beyond customer service, models professional behavior, analyzes information to solve problems, and contributes to budgets and payroll progress. Familiarity with brand service culture and adherence to property-specific recovery plans is expected; role requires availability to staff and coordinate with supervisors and co-workers via phone, email, or in person.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
