Job Summary
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees; ensure staff works together to deliver optimum service, inspect grooming and attire, complete opening/closing duties, manage inventories and requisition supplies, monitor dining rooms for service, safety, and guest well-being, and enforce company policies including the Open Door policy. Coach and develop team, foster positive working relationships, and strive for quality, efficiency, and cost-savings. Read and visually verify information, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with FIFO, safety training, and maintaining professional appearance is required; Marriott Equal Opportunity employment statement included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
