Job Summary
Oversee Accounts Payable processing and Federal Budgets within Nash County Public Schools; supervise AP functions; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; provide training and support to school finance staff; ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal regulations; maintain the finance website and assist with annual budget development; conduct financial reviews and audits; prepare journal entries and budget amendments/transfers; manage federal budgets and amendments; support payroll/accounts payable processes and provide responsive customer service related to AP issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of experience and supervisory experience preferred
- Master's Degree Preferred
