Job Summary
Deliver portfolio financial management activities including accounting, management reporting, month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and EOFY management. Engage with stakeholders to provide operational financial support, advice, and strategic annual client plan development. Implement service delivery improvements and maintain compliance with Procurement and Finance policies across assigned clients. Resolve financial management and decision-support matters while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Work on campus Tuesdays and Thursdays with flexibility for remote work on other weekdays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management or finance
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment
- Ability to interpret, apply and integrate complex financial policies and procedures, external requirements and accounting standards
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet both regular and unexpected workflow demands and strict deadlines
- Sound relationship management skills across all levels of the organisations, inspiring confidence, and trust
- Demonstrated skills in budgeting, forecasting, month end management, EOFY management, financial planning, reporting and analysis
- Strong experience in developing and/or tracking financial and non-financial key performance indicators
- Well-developed Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; with the ability to adapt and utilise complex excel spreadsheets for financial reporting and analysis, budget and forecast preparation and analysis, KPI reporting, ad-hoc analysis etc.
