Job Summary
Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing jobsite operations. Support project scheduling, progress tracking, and inspections with building officials while monitoring safety and OSHA compliance. Coordinate deliveries, maintain project documentation, and communicate with owners, architects, and the project team to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards. Requires 1–3 years of commercial construction experience, daily travel to sites in NJ, PA, NY, and the Mid-Atlantic, and OSHA 30 certification.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of commercial construction field experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency using an iPad, email, and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- Willingness to travel daily to project sites
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Completion of a construction trade school program
- Experience with Procore, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project, EarthCam, or similar construction software
