Job Summary
Manage security programs in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and act as a liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Conduct internal audits, investigations, and threat assessments while overseeing physical and personnel security, including COMSEC responsibilities and DD Form 254 requirements. Process visit requests, certifications, foreign travel forms, and security clearance investigations using systems like e-QIP and NISS. Provide security briefings, debriefings, and annual training for personnel, maintaining all related records and ensuring policy consistency with Government laws. Create and maintain security files for employees, consultants, and independent contractors, and manage security requirements for Open Storage areas. Requires US citizenship, minimum one year of experience supporting cleared contractors under NISPOM, and proficiency with DISS, NBIS, and NISS. Base pay ranges from $35-$45 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Industrial Security or personnel security administration supporting a cleared contractor under NISPOM
- Experience supporting self-inspections or government security audits
- Working knowledge of DISS, NBIS, eApp, and NISS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance
- Strong critical and analytical thinking
- Possess a high degree of organizational and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure
- Must be able to carry 25 pounds
- Must be able to sit or stand for 1-2 hours at a time
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about the facility
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with relevant experience
- Prior experience in an AFSO, Security Specialist, CPSO, or related security support role
- Experience supporting Insider Threat Program activities
- Completion of all Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency FSO training requirements (possessing/non-possessing)
- Industry certifications
- Industrial Security Professional
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
