Job Summary
Assist the Facility Operations Manager in delivering clean, functioning facilities by maintaining locker rooms, fitness floors, and common areas while responding to member feedback with urgency. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and counseling to team members, serve on the Safety Committee to ensure OSHA compliance, and coordinate staff schedules. Support monthly and annual budget recommendations and assist with recruiting and interviewing for the Operations department. Work the opposite schedule of the manager, requiring flexibility to meet business needs. This role offers hourly wages starting at $23.50 with a full membership subsidy, 401(k) match, and comprehensive health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/AED certification
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Aquatic Facilities Operator Certification (AFO)
- Certified Pool Operator license (CPO)
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
Desired Qualifications
- Health and fitness operations experience
- College degree in business, hospitality, or related field
- Experience with building operations
