Assistant Facilities Manager

Job Summary
Conduct daily comprehensive facilities management for a main corporate site and two to three smaller tenancies, ensuring compliance with regulations, client contracts, and site procedures. Manage vendor relationships, chair monthly contractor meetings, and coordinate facilities works while reviewing invoices for contractual alignment. Perform building inspections, complete associated reports, and monitor both planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes to meet service level targets. Serve as the on-site key point of contact for Facilities, verifying work orders and delivering superior customer service to occupiers and clients across the portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated verbal and written abilities, including good presentation skills
- Self-motivated, confident, and energetic personality with a passion for quality and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong client focus
- Capacity to deal with ambiguity, solve problems effectively, and handle stressful situations
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Demonstrated trustworthiness, honesty, and ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives
- Customer service focus with excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands
- Prior experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field
- Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements and vendor management for specialised services
