Assistant Facilities Manager

In this role you will assist with overseeing daily operations, maintenance, and functionality of a detention facility, coordinating maintenance activities, contractor services, inspections, repairs, and operational projects while ensuring compliance with safety and government standards. You will monitor building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, lighting, mechanical equipment), conduct inspections, manage work orders and maintenance schedules, assist with inventory and vendor management, coordinate with security and transportation teams, and prepare maintenance reports for leadership. Requires strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a secure environment; must have at least 3 years of relevant facility management experience, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and US work authorization. Must be able to pass background checks, a preemployment medical assessment, and drug screening; capable of working flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Location is Surprise, AZ, and the role is full-time with no telework.
