Job Summary

Assistant Facilities Manager responsible for assisting with planning, designing, implementing, supervising, and evaluating Library facilities services across 20 CLP/CALS locations, including maintenance, custodial, safety, and long-range capital planning; supervises technicians and custodial staff; coordinates with internal customers, contractors, and city agencies; ensures compliance with codes and budgets; develops training and contract management programs; manages work orders and facility reporting, and serves as a liaison for facilities operations across library locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum five years of progressive facility maintenance and supervisory experience
  • valid PA driver’s license
  • experience with facility operations and building systems (HVAC, fire protection, security, life safety)
  • experience managing contracts and service vendors
  • proficiency with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
