Job Summary
Assist in directing the Housekeeping Department to uphold Kempinski’s luxury standards, manage daily operations of floors and public areas, supervise staff and coordinate with executive leadership for staffing, training, budgeting, and vendor coordination. Responsible for VIP/guest requests, quality control of cleaning, safety procedures, and ensuring timely, defect-free service while supporting recruitment, training plans, and department budgeting. Strong emphasis on operational knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning techniques and products, Opera PMS usage, and effective communication with guests and colleagues to maintain exceptional guest experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years experience in a Housekeeping management position
- Preferably in a 5 star hotel
- Operational knowledge of housekeeping equipment and machine
- Knowledge on cleaning different fabric materials
- Knowledge of chemicals
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Knowledge on cleaning products, equipment and machine
- Knowledge on housekeeping procedures and standards
- Knowledge of Opera PMS
- Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong management skills and ability to inspire others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with superb presentation and grooming
- Experience in revenue management would be an advantage
- Analytical and problem solving skills and execution of work
