Job Summary
Assists the Executive Director by overseeing Thrive’s day-to-day operations and HR functions, managing leadership and supervisory staff across multiple departments, preparing reports and correspondence, training and supervising clerical staff as assigned, and ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient administrative workflows. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3+ years in operations or HR administration, with strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record in nonprofit compliance and staff management. Responsibilities include HR oversight (onboarding, benefits, PTO), operational support (staff training, performance evaluations, process improvements), program support and compliance, technology and information management (HMIS, payroll systems), and governance/leadership activities to align departments with Thrive’s goals.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Business Operations, or related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience related to operations management or HR Administration (non-profit preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, oral & written communication skills
- Knowledge of staff management, HR policies, and nonprofit compliance
