Job Summary
Assistant Executive Director role supporting the Executive Director in daily community operations, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and resident-centered environment; overseeing business-office functions including financial management, billing, payroll support, and records management; assisting with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, training, and staff development; ensuring regulatory and internal-policy compliance; monitoring occupancy and performance; participating in marketing/census-building activities; maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, staff, vendors, and partners; leadership coverage and responsiveness to concerns or emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (education)
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in a comparable role (required)
- Valid Pennsylvania Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) certification with ALR Administrator module (required)
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational, decision-making, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with a resident-centered approach
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with accounting/payroll software
