Job Summary

Assist the Executive Director in overseeing operations of an Assisted Living/Residential Care Facility in Hood River, OR. Responsibilities include conducting resident assessments to determine level of care and individualized service plans, coordinating admissions and discharges, managing day-to-day resident needs, filling caregiver/med tech shifts, on-call weekends, professional communication with residents’ families, maintaining facility conditions, preparing inventories, ensuring supply/purchasing procedures, aiding in staff hiring and 24/7 supervision, coordinating onboarding and training, coordinating interdepartmental teamwork, aligning staffing with Oregon’s Acuity Based Staffing Tool, engaging with the community to network and market to referral sources, and following the company medication program as prescribed by the physician.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years’ experience providing care to persons in a community based or long-term care setting or have a minimum of two years education in a health-related field, or a combination thereof
  • Driver’s License, good driving record, and proof of insurance
  • Familiarity with state residential care rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of the facility policies and procedures per state guidelines
  • Knowledge and proficiency in data entry/extraction
