Job Summary
Support day-to-day community operations and department leadership while assisting with financial performance, budgeting, and operational goals. Help lead, coach, and hold team members accountable, then partner with department leaders to maintain high standards of resident care and service. Drive occupancy growth through tours, family engagement, and sales initiatives while monitoring policies and implementing practical solutions for improvement. Step into broader leadership responsibilities when the Executive Director is unavailable. This role offers exposure to operations, financial performance, team development, and compliance within a fast-moving senior living environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience in senior living, assisted living, healthcare, hospitality, or another service-driven environment
- Experience supervising employees and managing team performance
- Understanding of business operations, budgeting, expense management, or financial performance
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead with both accountability and empathy
- Comfortable working across multiple departments and managing competing priorities
- Are a current senior living department leader ready for your next step
- Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to happen
- Are dependable and follow through on commitments
- Can organize people, priorities, and projects effectively
- Communicate confidently—even when the conversation is difficult
- Enjoy developing people and building strong teams
- Understand that resident satisfaction, employee engagement, occupancy, and financial performance are all connected

Desired Qualifications
- Assisted Living and/or Memory Care experience strongly preferred
- Sales, occupancy growth, or customer relationship experience is a plus
- Desire to continue growing into broader senior living leadership
- Want to eventually become an Executive Director
