Job Summary
Assure facility compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and maintain survey readiness for regulatory visits. Conduct daily rounds to ensure high-quality resident care, safe conditions, and effective departmental operations while overseeing recruitment, selection, and training of supervisors. Direct implementation of written policies, authorize equipment purchases, and maintain accurate financial records and patient census. Support the Executive Director in budget preparation, annual operating budget achievement, and monthly quality assurance committee meetings. Represent the facility with governmental agencies, vendors, and community partners to maintain visibility and reputation.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA/NHA) license
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a long‐term care setting
- Strong knowledge of state and federal long‐term care regulations
- BS/BA degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to communicate, direct, and delegate effectively
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and critical‐thinking skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
