Job Summary
Oversee daily housekeeping operations by planning assignments, conducting inspections, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards. Lead and supervise the Housekeeping team through coordination, coaching, and performance feedback while monitoring inventory, cleaning productivity, and maintenance needs. Manage departmental budgets, control operating expenses, and handle guest concerns to drive service recovery and operational efficiency. Collaborate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure smooth day-to-day functions and timely request fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Housekeeping, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role within an international hotel
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, room inspection standards, linen management, and inventory control
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
- Familiar with hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of occupational health & safety, hygiene standards, and hotel brand quality standards
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational requirements
