Job Summary
Initiate pre-construction kick-off meetings and identify areas of risk and profitability to guide project team decisions. Conduct drawing and document reviews to develop bid lists and manage the invitation to bid process. Collaborate with design teams and outside parties to achieve client goals while building positive relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Assist on larger projects or serve as the primary estimator for smaller projects. This role supports the Estimating team at a 100% employee-owned company recognized as a National Fortune Best Workplace.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bluebeam, On-screen Takeoff, Timberline or other estimating software a plus
- Experience with out of the ground, renovation, retail and high end boutiques, hotels, restaurants, luxury homes, and high end corporate tenant interiors a plus
