Job Summary
Assist with managing a varsity eSports program at Lesley University, focusing on Rocket League; responsibilities include practice planning, recruitment, player development, VOD reviews, scrim analysis, live-match management, and implementing competition strategies, while supporting compliance with NCAA/Conference rules and contributing to fundraising and community service initiatives. Collaborate with Head Coach to prepare players for collegiate and tournament-level competition, foster a positive team culture, and help lead recruiting efforts within the framework of Lesley University standards and competitive guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Prior competitive playing or coaching experience in eSports at the collegiate, semi-pro, or professional level (required)
- Experience in gameplay, managing, casting and/or coaching in Rocket League title
- Knowledge of NACE & NECC rules, regulations, and structure
- Ability to participate in admissions events such as Open Houses, Accepted Students Day, and other new student events
- A valid U.S. driver’s license or the ability to commute to practices/competitions
- Requires night and weekend hours and potential overnight travel
