Job Summary
Assist with maintaining, repairing, and servicing landscaping equipment, vehicles, and machinery used on the course; diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; perform preventive maintenance and component replacements; document maintenance activities in logs/CMMS; support projects to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability; develop leadership and technical skills toward Head Equipment Manager role; uphold safety practices, tool usage, and regulatory compliance; coordinate parts procurement and supplier interactions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing equipment and machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with ability to read schematics, manuals, and diagnostic codes
- Experience with equipment types such as excavators, loaders, dozers, cranes, trucks, and generators
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, electronic testing equipment, and diagnostic software
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
- Vocational training or certification in diesel mechanics, equipment repair, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
