Job Summary
Conduct daily routine care of horses and other barn animals, perform light pasture and arena maintenance, and administer light veterinary care. Instruct lower-level English riding lessons for beginners as young as six through cantering and assist with programming for shows, clinics, and summer camps. Provide educational and family-oriented experiences for community members through horseback riding and recreational activities. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, fluent English, and three years of horse husbandry experience. Four 10-hour shifts per week with three consecutive days off. Earn $19.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- A valid U.S.-issued driver's license
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of three years of horse husbandry experience
- Must pass a background check
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
