Assistant Engineer II - Field Service - Projects

Job Summary
Lead liquid cooling system projects from concept to completion; participate in project meetings and provide design inputs; coordinate cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing); review and approve designs for accuracy and compliance; manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; develop test plans and validate cooling system performance; analyse test data and improve system performance; ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations; perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot field issues within SLA; mentor and support team members; maintain proper documentation and reporting. Strong fundamentals in Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics & Fluid Mechanics; understanding of control systems and sensor integration.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Piping Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASHRAE, ASME)
- Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, CAESAR II
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling)
- Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient systems
- Certification in piping/design (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proven track record in project delivery
