Job Summary
Assistant Electro Technical Officer for Balearia Ro-Ro Passenger ferries. Responsible for safe operation, maintenance, diagnosis, installation, repair and testing of all electrical equipment onboard to safety standards; coordinates with technical parties; supports safety drills; maintains logbooks and PMS; ensures compliance with Public Health, National and International standards; reads technical drawings and manuals; communicates with Chief Electrician and 1st Electrician; offshore shipboard duties with emphasis on electrical systems and equipment across hotel/shipboard departments.
Required Qualifications
- All valid STCW certifications, including mandatory Ro-Pax Certificates as per STCW V/2 and minimum ETR - STCW Reg.III/7
- Valid STCW 95 certification
- Valid CoC A-III/7
- Appropriate certification as required by regulations
- Solid understanding of all electrical equipment onboard
- Extensive experience in subordinate positions and on board passenger ships in a similar role
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and manuals
- English language proficiency (verbal, written, technical)
